Test Manager

As a leader in the Software Testing Industry NMQA’s Test Managers are the elite. We are actively recruiting experienced test managers who have successfully led the testing activities on large projects and / or programmes. The role requires you to provide direction & leadership as well as support to our clients and users. You will be expected to provide expert advice and guidance on all testing matters.

You will have an excellent background in testing with a significant awareness of business & technical environments; you must also be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver under the pressure situations. As a test manager at NMQA you must have exceptional motivational and task management skills as well as first class communication skills. Ideally, you will have come from a consultative background and operated in the senior levels of large projects. Experience in managing third party suppliers will be acceptable.

Technical Test Consultant

The role will require the individual to become a subject matter expert (SME) in software testing and the use of automation technologies and tools.  This includes open source and proprietary tools, programmatic languages and Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) packages utilised in the testing of software.  You will be involved in the design and deployment of test automation frameworks and their use on client engagements.

The role will be across all market sectors and encompass testing websites and applications built on a range of technologies.  The ideal candidate will have a background in web technologies, a working knowledge of programming languages and have the ability to write code.  Engagements can range from manual functional testing of web applications to the design, implementation and delivery of test automation frameworks utilising key technologies including Selenium, Java, Ruby and C#.  As a client engagement focused role you will be utilised across all market sectors and client sizes, working from both our Test Lab and the clients offices.

As always with consultancy roles, good communication skills are a must!
