Unfortunately due to an overwhelming number of enhancement requests from our Server and Enterprise clients, and the introduction of SharePoint 2010, most of our team are still heavily crunching away with the Test Management tool to ensure its as good as it can be. We now do not expect Vienna's automation functionality to be ready until early next year.

Can you please explain in detail as to which part is not working properly in Test Run?

When creating Test Cases, you can specify URLs within the steps as long as you have selected "Webscript or Webscript with screens" script type. Vienna's Test Runner will then automatically open the web browser and the urls without a user having to re-type them manually while executing the test.

For more information on how to create Requirements and Test Cases, there is a user guide supplied with the product which can be access using F1 function key or from the Start Menu > Programs > NMQA > Vienna v2.1 > Vienna Help.

I am wondering what the status is of the enhancement to integrate a record & playback option (a la Selennium) in the tool? In earlier posts you said 'beginning next year', which would be 2011. Any news yet?
