I'm evaluating Vienna and have a feature question: The Website mentions Selenium integration and something called VSL. I'm playing with Vienna Desktop butI can't find a way to add an automated script.

There is nothing in the helpfile for VSL or Selenium. Any idea how I go about using the two together?

Cheers,
James.

Hi James,

When we were building our new website the belief was that Vienna Studio would be ready for launch along side it. Vienna Studio is (will be) our test automation solution. Unfortunately there has been a delay on the release of this software until the end of the summer. All reference to this tool have been removed from our site for now.

For your information VSL stands for Vienna Scripting Language which is used by Vienna Studio for automation. For web automation VSL will utilise Selenium Server in the background. We will post more information on Studio nearer to its release date.

What is the ETA for Vienna Studio? Is it possible to get the BETA version for testing and evaluation purposes?

Our devs are working round the clock on so much func right now. We'll add you to our list of early adopters and keep you posted.

I am currently investigating Vienna as a potential test management tool, and would also be keen to be on your list of early adopters. It's not much use to us without the automation / selenium angle.
