A key offering from the Test Lab, functional testing forms the basis of test delivery for the majority of our projects and includes component, integration and system testing.  Manual and automation consultants are involved in the creation of test scripts based on requirements and specifications, execution, raising bugs, re-testing and results reporting.

A wider range of browsers, operating systems and versions used to access web applications combined with a significant rise in the use of mobile and tablet devices means it is critical for applications to be tested for cross-browser, operating system and device compatibility. Testing key functionality for styling, rendering, look and feel to ensure the user experience is bug-free and consistent across all platforms and devices is a key area of expertise within the Test Lab.

Consumers now access applications and content across a range of mobile and tablet devices, as well as traditional web browsers.  Clients depend on us to test applications on a range of mobile and tablet devices to ensure the customer experience is consistent, reliable and of a high quality regardless of the device.  The Test Lab is equipped with a full range of physical mobile and tablet devices running a variety of platforms including iOS, Android, Windows, Symbian and BlackBerry.  We have seen a large increase in the demand for app testing.

We specialise in the design, implementation and delivery of robust, stable and extensible test automation solutions and automated test scripts.  Test automation is not just a regression tool; early automation during the build phase can be of great benefit by reducing release cycles and speed up the validation of releases during the development phase.  QAWorks™ utilise both proprietary and open-source test automation tools and technologies including Selenium, Ruby, Cucumber, Java and JBehave.

It is critical to test the stability of applications under extensive concurrent user load and the QAWorks™ performance testing specialists work closely with clients to implement a strategy around the execution of performance tests (Load, Stress and Soak testing) and reporting of issues.  We have worked with clients on a number of campaign and event-driven applications to provide an assurance that the applications will remain stable under high levels of user traffic. Performance testing is conducted from our cloud servers.
